Integrated into the Museu da Luz, located in the Moura Municipality, this museum had a cost of 1.100.000,00€. The Museum has an area of 660m2 and is focused on memories and identities, of the past and future of the territory of Aldeia da Luz in the context of its submersion with the construction of the Alqueva dam, being integrated into the compensatory measures of the impacts on the implementaition of the “Aldeia da Luz” project for the 300 habitants.
It´s a container space that allows you to store, classify, and communicate all the information resulting from the replacement process. The building is consitituted of two floors, one buried and one ground floor and has covering of stone shale (local stone).
