Large Sport Complex, multidisciplinary, of public use, has more than 40.000m2 surface divided by the sports hall, classrooms, fitness and the indoor and outdoor pools. The entire structure, in concrete laminar elements, is supported by molded pegs. The entire structure and its shares are characterized by having large bays and cantilevers resulting in the set, a work of great impact. In communal areas the gaps are resolved using the wall beams and slabs. The coverage of the sports center comprises three-dimensional mesh. In the Swimming pool and the exterior area (visor) solution is possible by combining the rigidity of laminar elements in all directions of your plan and characteristics of its shape.
On the roof of the indoor pool was possible to implement a 30cm thick slab. Given the ovoid shape, with convex curvature, the second largest elliptical arch and go under the lower range, restricted by the perimeter wall in a closed loop. This solution has allowed the introduction of several skylights marking the environment within the swimming pool.
Coupled with this structure terminates the outer visor which has a span of console variable between 4.0 and 12 meters supported by curved wall with a variable height. The slab is solved using the slab lightly height of 85cm on the inside with polystyrene blocks and the introduction of a pillar judiciously positioned within the bar.
The walls, 50cm, have a similar solution, recessed in the base with the use of massive cross-over pair of poles constituting the binomial of fixed support. The light structure of the pavilion is composed of tubular sections and spherical nodes, the system “Lanik” with about 3 feet high. Variable, following the undulating geometry, supports on the periphery of the boundary walls.
All external elements, in white concrete, were conducted using a stainless steel plate coated with formwork solution that proved economically advantageous to the size of the work and the quality objective proposed.
The work is carried out with practically no expansion joints except the joint deployed down the tunnel connecting the building to the pool and service areas, thus eliminating a number of features, pathologies and of course eliminating visual impairment
